Congresbury
OS Reference ST431638
Opened on the 3rd of August 1869. Closed to passengers on the 9th September 1963 and goods on the 1st July 1964. From the 14th April 1901 the station became a junction for the Wrington Vale Light Railway at which time a second platform and a loop line were added.

The view from Congresbury under the A370 Bristol-WSM road towards Yatton. Once the line was closed this bridge, which had a span of 23' 6", was removed and the road now crosses the route on the level.

Looking in the same direction on the 10.10.05. A carpet of ivy covers everything in sight, but the platforms are still intact fourty odd years after they last saw any passengers.
