== History ==
Opened on 18th April [[1867]], although the tidal portion of the Pier itself wasn't ready until June [[1868]], with the low water portion being opened on 18th April [[1870]]. After a buyout by the [[:Category:GWR|GWR]], steamer services from the pier ceased on 1st October [[1886]].
