To Bath: Foxes Wood Tunnel


There was a pumping house next to the portal of Bristol No2 Tunnel at Conham that supplied water for locomotives and carriage washing in Bristol. The pump had its own siding for the delivery of coal. This was in use between 1901 and 1969.
