Re: Forgotten Toilets at Temple Meads Reopened
That is a well needed facility. I witnessed plenty of long queues outside the ladies in the subway during my time there. The privacy screen on platforms 10/12 was still in place and somewhere many thought they could skulk behind for a crafty fag or even try to bed down for the night.
The only other toilet is the key controlled disabled one on platform 13/15. There was a non-gender (unisex?) staff toilet on platform 11. I wonder what will happen with that one with the current debate on the subject.
My memory is telling me that there was one on the current platform 1 back in my spotting days possibly near where the mail transporter bridge was and maybe another in the old train shed. With my advancing years, it's critical to know where the nearest facility is.
