Not even two years old, D817 Foxhound stands on an unfinished Bath Road shed during January 1962.
This photo was also taken during the rebuilding works and shows Hymek D7001 on shed with Warship D810. Another Hymek and a couple of Warships are also on view.

An awful photo of a couple of Westerns on shed at Bath Road. I include this because it's one of the first photos I ever took. It's a polaroid and the quality is rubbish.... but I love it :) D1010 and D1048 leave the depot and prepare to follow sister locos D1023 and D1013 to Plymouth as backup on the last day of the Westerns. 26.2.77.

A view of the site of Bath Road Depot taken on the 7.10.04.
What was the entrance to the depot on the same day. The signal box that controlled movement into and out of the depot had recently been demolished.
These arches alongside the River Avon date from the original Bristol & Exeter shed built on this site.
