History

St Annes Park Station was opened on the 23rd May 1898 and closed on the 5th January 1970. Station staff numbered five between 1913 to 1933. The station was unstaffed after 6th March 1967.

A nodule of rock sits at the entrance to Bristol No2 Tunnel. This sits close to a spot where previous nodules of rock called The Apple & Pear once sat.
