According to the Midland Railway System Map for the area in 1918 this bridge is "G.W.Bridge No.6". It was measured as 129miles 1chain from Derby London Road Jn via Whitacre & Camp Hill.

 Looking along the remains of the Midland Railway main line towards Mangotsfield. With stops at Whitehall, Fishponds, Staple Hill and Mangotsfield and a new station at Emersons Green a railway along this route would simply coin it in if some idiot hadn't ripped it apart. |
