History
Portishead West Loop was added in the early part of the 20th century and subsequently removed later in the same century.

It's amazing that this bridge has lasted at this spot as it has always been a bottleneck and prohibits large objects getting to the trading estate beyond.

The other side of the bridge which is starting to rust rather badly. Notice how the road dips in order to get it underneath the railway.
