History

Cam & Dursley park and ride station was built in 1993 close to the site of Coaley Junction Station which served a branch line to Cam and Dursley villages.

2005

  The view south from the station, Platform 1. Coaley station was just before the road bridge and the branch for Dursley forked to the left from it.
•

  A view across to Platform 2 showing the construction methods used in building the station.

  Rather surprisingly, some original fencing remains behind the platform.

  While I'm taking photos 158867 pulls in looking for passengers. Finding none, it scurries off towards Gloucester.

  The view south from the footbridge. The view north is obscured by Box Road bridge.

  Box Road crosses the north end of the station. Unfortunately I didn't have time to walk along to the bridge and get some photos from it... :(

  Out in the car park. Bus stops, timetables, phone boxes and seating.

  The view out of the station car park. It's a good job it's a park and ride station... no-one lives here!

  At the south end of the station there's a small engineers yard operated by Birse Rail.
