Looking west along the line with Chipping Sodbury station on the right and Blanchard's Bridge in the distance. The buildings just visible at the right are called Railway Cottages. -
And this is what they look like. They were built by the GWR to house staff. -
Another look along the line with a better view of where the sidings on the site of Chipping Sodbury station leave the mainline. -
A culvert runs from Chipping Sodbury Tunnel and along the railway. -
A crappy shot of some track side detail. This kind of stuff needs to be archived from ground level really. -
The bridge at this location carries a footpath across the railway. -
Looking east from the bridge and Chipping Sodbury Tunnel is just visible through the smoky haze produced by a bonfire near the line.
