To Avonmouth: Concorde Footbridge

History

This level crossing was installed between 13th October and the 10th November 1947 and was built to connect the newly enlarged Filton Runway to the Bristol Brabazon hangar.

Photos taken on the 26th November 2003, the day Concorde made it's last ever flight.
