18th. Hampton Row Halt opened.

5th. New signals put in place on the Coalpit Heath, Frog Lane Colliery branch.
15th. Several Empire Prime Ministers arrive at Redland station en route to visit the docks under construction at Avonmouth.

14th. New signal box at Axbridge opened.

8th. Weston, Clevedon & Portishead Railway opens to Portishead 25th. original Clifton Bridge signal box closed.

26th. A stone built station building brought into use at Burrington.
