Westerleigh Marshalling Yard opened.

24th. Girders for connecting the flyover south of Yate put in place.

April

14th. Congresbury station becomes a junction for the Wrington Vale Light Railway. A second platform and a loop line were added.

4th. Wrington station opens.

4th. Burrington station opens.
4th. Blagdon station opens.
