History
On 27th October 2020 the original bridge at this location was demolished as part of a Metrobus project. A new much bigger concrete replacement which had been constructed next to the railway was then moved into position using a 144-axle line, 576 wheeled, self-propelled modular transport (SPMT). The railway reopening on 23rd November. Further work involved lowering the road by 1.7 metres with the road under the new bridge fully opened to traffic on 24th April 2024.
