To Yate: Tanhouse Lane
To the North: Hall End Lane
History
This Road gets it's name from the Limekiln that was situated here. There was a tramway linking the kiln to a quarry near Yate Court.

The view south from Limekiln Road. The Kiln was just to the left in this pic.
-
And the view north.
-
The bridge itself, the height of which meant that the previous photos were taken by waving the camera around above my head and hoping for the best.

The spot where the tramway crossed Limekiln Road. The works have been converted to a mix of residential and industrial use and property has been built on the tramway route.
-
The earthworks of the tramway are still visible on the opposite side of the road.
-
Slightly further south the route of the tramway crosses a farm access road. The earthworks are more visible here.
