Tidenham Tunnel

To Newport: Netherhope Bridge
To Monmouth: Tintern Quarry

History

Tidenham Tunnel is also know as Dennelhill Tunnel and is 1188 yards long. the last train through the tunnel ran in December 1981. The tunnel is closed between 1 Oct - 31 March to prevent the disturbance of roosting bats.
