History
Weston station opened on 4th August 1869. It was renamed Weston (Bath) on 1st October 1934 to avoid ticketing confusion with Weston-Super-Mare. It closed to passengers on 21st September 1953 and goods on 29th November 1965.
The down platform was 600ft long, twice the length of the up. There was a siding to the south of the station for coal traffic, and a signal box to the west of Station Road.
The station building survives, but the trackbed has been obliterated by the building of an industrial estate.
