130m 35ch. Yatton West signal box had 129 levers. It closed on 31st January 1972.

  A view of Yatton signalbox taken during the transition from semaphore to colour light signalling. The grey 'blob' just visible behind the signalbox is the gasholder for Yatton gasworks. This received coal by rail until 1938.

  The box viewed from the end of the platforms of Yatton station. It sits in a scene of complete destruction. The HTV wagons were presumably cripples that had been stored in the Clevedon branch bay and scrapped on site rather than moved? Anyone know for sure?

  The view south in 2004 showing the spot where the signalbox stood. In this photo Network Rail's 'Flying Banana' HST can be seen in the loops south of Yatton station.
