A 2004 Look through the bridge with Silverthorne Lane beyond. The bridge had been reduced in places to just girders across the road. -
The road had become a dead end. -
At the time of my visit an old goods yard was a depot for Carillion Rail and Amey. -
Another view of what once was the goods office. -
By 9.8.04. Network Rail had taken over the depot. The sign on the depot gates was spelt incorrectly.
