  • Two bridges crossing the Severn Tunnel. Both on the alignment of the Severn Beach - Pilning loop line. The top bridge is Green Lane while the bottom bridge is the M49 Motorway. The motorway was built on a bridge in order to keep the weight of the Severn Tunnel below. Mike P stood on the alignment of the old Severn Beach - Pilning loop when he took this photo. The railway ran from where he stood straight ahead and to the right of the top bridge. © Mike P
