The 2004 view from the bridge towards Clifton Down. The amount of building that has taken place on former railway land is clear to see. Clifton Down Goods Yard was closed to traffic on 5th July 1965. -
A view of St Johns Road bridge from the car park at Clifton Down station. The arches on the left of the photo were the entrance to the once extensive goods yard, all now built on. -
Right on cue 150261 rolls into the station on it's way to Temple Meads. -
Looking over the edge of the bridge gives a view of a building housing signal control gear and emergency equipment for the Clifton Down Tunnel.
